Cigar Smoking Made Easy

There are a large number of people who have only heard or seen others smoking the cigars in style. However, they have not really had the right information which can help them in smoking the cigar. Cigar smoking is not very simple and requires a bit of skill on the part of the smoker. However, with a little bit of assistance it is possible for beginners to become experts in cigar smoking. How to Light-Up? Beginners must first learn to light-up the cigar properly. Before lighting up, the smoker must clip off the rim of the head of the cigar with a clipper. If the smoker can light-up the foot of the cigar with a cedar match. Then t would be that much better. Experts advise beginners to refrain from lighting the cigar with the conventional cigarette lighter at all costs. This is so because, these lighters produce an extremely foul odor which remains for a long time which spoils the fun of a good cigar. Experts advise the use of butane lighters which ensures that the odor is kept to a bare minimum. The best way of lighting the cigar is the wooden match stick. Lighters must be avoided as they can ruin the base of the cigar. Lighting a cigar requires the smoker to follow certain basic steps. After striking the match, the smoker must first hold the edge of the cigar over the flame. It is important that the smoker does not touch the cigar to the fire. Then the smoker just has to hold the cigar over the flame and draw deeply until the cigar is lit. When Do You Stop? Many people feel that it is necessary to continue smoking till you reach the nub of the cigar. However, experts advise that ideally at least two inches of the cigar must be left by the smokers. The reason for this is that all the cigars, irrespective of their quality, taste bitter if they are burnt right till the end. It is not necessary to knock off the ashes of the cigar in the ashtray. The cigar can simply be rested on the ashtray and the ashes fall off automatically. Smoke in Leisure and with Great Pleasure The primary rule of cigar smoking says that a cigar must always be smoked at leisure and never be hurried. The best time to light a cigar is after dinner. The smoker must enjoy every cigar puff with a glass of superb brandy. Cigar smoking requires the smoker to follow certain etiquettes. The smoker must first hold the cigar between the thumb and fingers. A cigarette held in anyway other than this is not considered very well. Also, inhaling deeply must be particularly avoided. This leads to the smoke going into the lungs. This has an adverse effect on the health. It also degrades the taste of the cigar and thereby ruins the actual fun of cigar smoking. The smoker must be extremely careful of the people around. Cigar smokers must make it a point to smoke cigars along with other cigar smokers and avoid smoking among non-smokers. It is the beauty of cigar that it can be enjoyed alone as well as in the company of other cigar smokers.
